Well, after 10 hours of driving from Florida I arrived in Charlotte. Driving still beats the crowds and security lines at the airports! Joyce was happy to see me and had a big smile for me. It is amazing to see her loving spirit through all she is going through. She said she was very hungry so Dale went to KFC tonight and I helped her eat. She kept telling me how good it was. She has a lot of pain in her back area when she is moved around. Lying flat she seems to be ok. Dale has some errands to take care of so he can take care of that while I am here to be with Joyce. Keep sending your posts and your prayers.
I will try to keep everyone updated as the days go by.

Jill's right, Bets, you are the best! So happy to hear you arrived safe and sound -- that was a long drive by yourself! I know you are so happy for Bets' being with you and Joyce. I wish I could be there to help. All I can do is pray!
