Tuesday in Charlotte

Dear all:
Things are going well. The nurse came today and gave Dale and I some lessons on how to change the bedding, etc. with Joyce in bed. We are getting quite good at it by now. Joyce continues to enjoy eating her chocolate treats and drinking her cokes. She is doing quite well in the eating department lately. Sleeps a lot but is not in pain. She talks about her loved ones and friends and thank me quite often for being here. Joyce said it is a treat to be fed her meals and likes it a lot!! She told me today that my Mother raised a wonderful son and how she loved him so much. Keep the emails and phone calls coming. I am learning so much from Joyce. She is teaching me what is important in life.
